AOD-9604
Also known as: hGH fragment 176-191
A synthetic fragment of growth hormone studied for lipid-metabolism endpoints without the full GH profile.
Overview
AOD-9604 is a peptide based on the C-terminal region (residues 176-191) of human growth hormone. It was investigated for effects on fat metabolism while, in research, largely lacking growth-hormone’s effects on IGF-1 and glucose.
How it’s studied to work
It is studied for its reported ability to stimulate lipolysis (fat breakdown) and inhibit lipogenesis in fat-cell models, mirroring the fat-metabolising region of the parent hormone.
