Overview
CJC-1295 is a synthetic analogue of growth-hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH). The "without DAC" form (modified GRF 1-29) has a short action and is frequently studied in combination with a ghrelin-receptor agonist such as Ipamorelin. A DAC-modified version was investigated for a much longer half-life.
How it’s studied to work
As a GHRH analogue it binds GHRH receptors on the pituitary to stimulate the synthesis and pulsatile release of growth hormone, complementing the separate ghrelin-receptor pathway.
