Overview

This is a combination of two secretagogues that act on complementary pathways — CJC-1295 (a GHRH analogue) and Ipamorelin (a selective ghrelin-receptor agonist). The pairing is a common research design because the two mechanisms are studied together for their combined effect on growth-hormone release.

How it’s studied to work

CJC-1295 engages the GHRH receptor while Ipamorelin engages the ghrelin (GHS-R1a) receptor. Because these are separate upstream inputs to the same pituitary output, they are frequently studied in combination.
