Ipamorelin

Overview
Ipamorelin is a pentapeptide growth-hormone-releasing peptide (GHRP) that acts on the ghrelin receptor. It is noted in the literature for stimulating growth-hormone release with comparatively little effect on cortisol or prolactin, making it a common tool compound.
How it’s studied to work
Ipamorelin binds the growth-hormone secretagogue receptor (GHS-R1a, the ghrelin receptor) on the pituitary, triggering GH release through a pathway distinct from GHRH — which is why it is often paired with a GHRH analogue in research.
